The holidays are quickly approaching and that means shopping, cooking, and entertaining. It can feel hectic. We would like to help make it a lot easier and more fun this year.

Obviously, we can’t do your cooking, cleaning or entertaining – but we can share some great gift ideas for the wine lovers on your list!

Giving the gift of wine can be complicated trying to match the wine to an individual’s taste, that may be very different than yours. We’ve come up with a personality for each of our best loved wines to help you match your gift of wine to the characters on your list.

  1. No Nonsense – This is the person gets things done rather than talking about it. They are practical and accomplish those impossible tasks while making it look easy. They constantly amaze by their ability to take action.

2019 Petite Verdot offers aromas of leather and tobacco leading to flavors with currants nuances and cedar on a lingering finish.

  1. The Outdoorsy Type – Your self-sufficient friend who enjoys hiking, camping, or even glamping. They love sitting around a campfire (or fire pit). They could live off the land or find their way back to camp with a compass or their cell phone.

2020 Whole Cluster Pinot Noir with hints of dark raspberry with a touch of toast and smoke on a rich mid-palate with a lingering finish.

  1. The Adventurous Spirit – The global traveler (or armchair traveler) who loves soaking in the last rays of the sun at an outdoor café in Italy or visiting that charming hill town for the restaurant they found on social media.

2019 Red Willow Sangiovese with enough adventure to keep them engaged. Enjoy hints of spice and red fruit on the nose leading to rich flavors of raspberry and Asian spices on a long finish.

  1. Discriminating – That friend who has effortless style, they arrive perfectly attired for every occasion. They always know just the right thing to say. You are surprised to learn they have an edge…they listen to punk rock when no one is around.

2019 Pines Merlot – it is rich, soft (smooth) and has an edge to make it interesting. Experience aromas of black pepper and spice blending with dark fruits that move into a mouthful of abundant blackberries and finishes with crisp tannins.

These wines are available through our website and in our tasting room. For a limited time, all 3 bottle purchases include an artisan ornament, created exclusively for us, while supplies last.

Let us know how we can make your holidays a little brighter.
